New colors of Confetti Cotton Solids + new Pure Solids colors & color card

Welcome to the 35th edition of the Sewfinity newsletter, written by me, Angela Bowman.

Hi from Angela

Meridian Idaho, Sunday June 1, 2025

Good afternoon!

It's the first day of June, what a lovely day. It's 74 degrees with a slight breeze. Perfect. The bees are buzzing on my lavender plants, the birds are singing, and I'm enjoying the fleeting perfect couple weeks' worth of weather here in southern Idaho before it gets hot. My husband jokes that I'm a weather Goldilocks, and that right now we're in my Goldilocks zone where it's not too hot and not too cold 😁

The theme of my letter to you today? NEW COLOR. We've added a ton of new color to the Sewfinity warehouse recently: 126 total in the Confetti Cotton and Pure Solids fabric collections. That brings our total solid quilting cotton colors up to 1,074!

We also have some new color tools for you: a color card supplement for Pure Solids and a really cool Quilty Color Wheel for Confetti Cotton Solids. So read on and visit Sewfinity.com at your leisure. From Goldilocks to you: hope you're having a great weekend!

NEW: 114 colors of Confetti Cotton Solids

Riley Blake added 114 colors to their Confetti Cotton Solids collection, and here they are! That brings their total up to 300 colors, and we have them all.

Some notable favorites of mine:

Strawberry: a beautiful red with a slight violet undertone
Pitch Black: a verrrry dark black, great for contrast effects
Pine Valley: a gorgeous deep green
Blackboard: an exceptionally dark grey
Paradise: I love a saturated cyan
Crocodile: an extremely dark green

SO STOKED ABOUT THIS COLLECTION!

NEW: 12 colors of Pure Solids

The 12 new colors of PURE Solids by Art Gallery Fabrics just arrived! Such a gorgeous palette of warm and cool tints.

Chamomile: a very pale yellow, yet not too desaturated
Ever So Pink: an extremely light tint of red magenta
Peony: a lovely magenta pastel
Silk Ribbon: another pretty tint of red magenta
Popsicle: a light and yummy orange-red
Storm: a warm light grey, such a nice neutral option
Day Dreamer: a dreamy violet pastel
Intergalactic: a rare light blue-violet
North Star: a tint of blue cyan (my favorite?!)
Aqua: a soothing green cyan
Seaglass: a beachy light green
Springtide: a super-fresh and crisp yellow green

NEW: Color Card Supplement for Pure Solids

The 12 new pastels of Pure Solids have their own color card 🙂

NEW: Quilty Color Wheel

Here's a super nifty tool to help you choose colors in the Confetti Cotton Solids fabric collection by Riley Blake Designs.

We are all about color theory and solids at Sewfinity, so this wheel is right up our alley 🎨 We think you will love this pretty little 10" circle!

Every month (or so) Angela writes a letter about her thoughts, behind-the-scenes stuff at Sewfinity, and things worth knowing in the world of sewing. It's like getting a nice letter in the mail. Not too spammy. And not too often.
