Good morning!

The end of August... such a great time of year. The days are getting cooler, school is starting back up, and it's my birthday time. Coo coo ca-choo, I'm about to be 52! It's so weird, it feels like I should be half that age. Life is funny.

Let's see, what happened since I wrote to you last month? The Art Gallery Fabrics folks released 21 new colors in their Pure Solids line and we have them for you. My favorite new color? Lakefront. I love a good dark cyan.

Also, I put together some color ideas for one of the quilt patterns we offer: Copihue. I personally want to make this quilt and have already chosen one of the mockups as my inspiration: the 3-color version (yellow orange magenta) on a dark blue background. Let's see when I actually get it made!

21 New Pure Solids colors

Art Gallery Fabrics just released 21 new colors in their Pure Solids line, and we just got our hands on them. ⁠

First of all: they seriously upped their violet game 💜⁠

Also, it's so nice to have lighter shades of blues/cyans (hello, Forget-Me-Not!)⁠

And verrry good to have pure saturated yellow (Solar), yellow green (Electric Lime) and green (Clover).

NEW: Updated Pure Solids Color Card

With the new Pure Solids colors, there’s an updated color card! It has all 203 colors, including Signature Solids.

Copihue Quilt Color Ideas

We've paired up the Copihue quilt with 24/7 Solids and we are smitten! Here are just a few of the color ideas we've prepared that combine the quilt by Cotton & Joy and fabric by Hoffman Fabrics - on both dark and light backgrounds.

Making these mockups was a great way for me to get acquainted with the 24/7 Solids color palette. The colors are so good! Lots of pretty possibilities 💡
