Good afternoon!

Do you know how to hand quilt? I've been wanting to learn for quite some time - I just love the idea of a completely bespoke quilt made by hand. I'm learning with big stitch hand quilting - nice and easy big stitches with chunky thread. I'm starting with simple straight lines, and yeesh, that first line was really rough. Lots of uneven stitches. I'm sure I will get better with practice, though, so I'm going to keep at it.

I've been doing a bit of research to find techniques and tools especially for hand quilting. I've already found what works really well for big stitch quilting and have put together a toolkit and some thread bundles, more on that below.

I'm reading some really good books, some articles online, and watching some inspiring videos. I'll be compiling the best ones in a blog post. Do you have a favorite resource? If so, I'd love to know. It could be a book, tutorial, or just a video online of someone hand quilting. I'll include my favorites in the post.
