Hi from Angela
Meridian Idaho, Sunday October 4, 2026
Good afternoon βοΈ
I am happy to report that I have actually been sewing lately! Whenever I get back into it after a non-sewing spurt, I feel pretty dumb because it really is a key to my happiness.
I finished my Copihue quilt that I've had in the works for a lonnnnng time, and I just love it. I also made a little lunch bag for SewPINK with some bright and juicy Grunge pinks and peaches. Not the typical pink palette this year!
In other news:
We have 4 new kits for next year's Hand + Soul quilt, including a Sewfinity exclusive color combo. I asked Brooke of Eudaimonia Studio to come up with a palette that uses Nova as the background, and wow, did she come through. It's such a gorgeous palette of Pure Solids.
Nydia Kehnle is back in the quilt design world - hooray! I have always loved her design aesthetic and am so happy she is offering patterns again. Read on to see her stunning new design: Stellara.
We have a bag kit giveaway on Instagram going on right now, in case you want to make your own lunch bag. It's a biggie: a $135 value! I'll share the link at the very bottom of this email.
And there's a beautiful customer order of autumn colors you need to see.
Enjoy your October!

SewPINK: Out to Lunch 2.0
October is breast cancer awareness month, and every year I participate in SewPINK, the annual event by the team at ByAnnie to encourage people to get their screenings.
This year I made a small lunch bag with ByAnnie's Out to Lunch 2.0 sewing pattern. Isn't it the cutest little thing?
I had fun with colorblocking, included a surprise on the inside, and made a bunch of pattern mods to my bag to simplify things a bit. See the full recap in my post:

SewPINK 2026 fabric bundle
Hereβs our 2026 SewPINK fabric bundle! These fabrics are all Grunge by Moda Fabrics - so bright and juicy!
I chose 6 of these colors for my lunch bag, and there's enough leftover to make another entire bag.

Copihue quilt - I made it!
I've had this quilt cut out for a very long time, feels good to finally finish it! I paired some stash prints with Kona Nautical... she's a night beauty.
I used a 3-color digital mockup as my color inspiration, and it's a pretty close match. Go see it in my post:

Hand + Soul 2027
There are 4 new quilt kits you need to see, all featuring silky Pure Solids quilting cotton by Art Gallery Fabrics.
The pattern is available as a Block of the Month by Eudaimonia Studios, named Hand + Soul.
This kit with a dark Nova background is the Night Festival colorway, a Sewfinity exclusive. That Nova makes everything just pop off the quilt - I mean, look at that center tree! The colors are so nice together.
Don't miss seeing the other 3 colorways, especially if you're a fan of deep plum.

Stellara quilt pattern
We just received it: Nydia's newest stunning pattern Stellara.
Nydia and I go way back, so it's really nice to see her jump back into quilt design after a lengthy break. It's especially nice to see her re-launch with such a spectacular design!
Her new brand is The Stitch GA, and we'll be carrying her entire quilt pattern line. It's just three for now, but I told her to let me know when she releases new patterns (she has another stunning one in the works!).
And good news, her Dimension quilt pattern is back, which I know many of you will be thrilled about. It's such a cool 3D design.

Inspiring customer order
Here's a recent customer order that is just beautiful. It's all Bella Solids.
I created a palette in Sewfinity Colorway in case you want these colors, too. I set up one fat quarter of each in the Buy Panel, but of course you can adjust the quantities to your liking. And if you want to save this palette for later, just save it in Colorway!

Every month (or so) Angela writes a letter about her thoughts, behind-the-scenes stuff at Sewfinity, and things worth knowing in the world of sewing. It's like getting a nice letter in the mail. Not too spammy. And not too often.
